Boil the milk : To make this quick Kheer recipe, just soak the basmati rice for 2-3 hours. In the meantime, take a pan and add milk to it and keep stirring.

Add sugar and berries : Once the milk is reduced to half, reduce the flame and add the rice, whipped cream along with sugar, stir and let the kheer simmer for 2-3 minutes and add dried cranberries.
